(KSL News) Daniel Herrera will serve prison time for the murder of Richard Martinez.
Herrera, 19, was sentenced to four to 50 years in prison for killing Martinez in 2005.
The two men were arguing outside Settlement Canyon Dam when Herrera shot Martinez.
Last week, Herrera pleaded guilty as part of a plea bargain to three second-degree felonies-- manslaughter, possession of a dangerous weapon and obstruction of justice.
A judge ordered Herrera to serve the sentences consecutively.
