(KSL News) Congressman-elect Jason Chaffetz announced three key staff positions to his Utah and Washington, D.C. offices.

Chaffetz hired Justin Harding, who previously worked for Rep. Rob Bishop, as his Chief of Staff. Harding also acts as the staff liaison to the natural resources committee. He is a graduate of Beaver High School and Southern Utah University.

Another former Bishop staffer will fill the position of district director. Jennifer Scott is a homemaker from West Jordan who previously worked for Bishop as his volunteer campaign manager.

And Dell Smith has been named as deputy district director.

"I am excited to have a talented team with strong ties to Utah," Chaffetz said. "With our core team in place, we will be able to hit the ground running in January."
