Free meals, other deals for Veterans Day weekend 2019

SALT LAKE CITY — Veteran’s Day this year falls on Monday, Nov. 11, and various businesses are offering deals and discounts to military veterans and active-duty personnel, even going so far as to extend the offer to their immediate family.

Below is a list of participating locations and their deals and discounts. Military identification or proof of service is needed to receive these offers.

Food

Applebee’s is offering a free meal to all veterans and active-duty military on Nov. 11.
Buffalo Wild Wings is offering a free small boneless wings and fries meal for veterans and active-duty military on Nov. 11.
‘Bout Time Pub & Grill is giving a free meal to all veteran and active-duty military on Nov. 11.
California Pizza Kitchen is giving a free entree to all veterans and active-duty military, as well as a complimentary drink, on Nov. 11.
Chili’s is offering a free meal from a selected menu for all veterans and active-duty military on Nov. 11. Menu options can be found here.
Chipotle is having a buy-one-get-one entree deal for veterans and active-duty military on Nov. 11. In-restaurant purchases only.
Cracker Barrel is giving all veterans and active-duty military a complimentary slice of their double chocolate fudge coca-cola cake or pumpkin pie latte on Nov. 11. Dine-in only.
Denny’s is offering a free build your own Grand Slam breakfast on Nov. 11 between 5 a.m. and noon for active and non-active military personnel, as well as veterans. Dine-in only.
Dunkin’ Donuts is giving a free doughnut to veterans and active-duty military on Nov. 11, no other purchases necessary.
Famous Dave’s is giving a free two-meat lunch combo for active-duty military and veterans on Nov. 11. Dine-in only.
Golden Corral is offering a military appreciation night with a free “thank-you dinner” for all active-duty military and veterans in the evening of Nov. 11 from 5-9 p.m.
IHOP is giving out complimentary red, white and blue pancakes, or breakfast combos, to veterans and active-duty military personnel on Nov 11.
Little Caesars Pizza will be giving a free $5 lunch combo on Nov. 11 between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. for all veterans and active military members.
Olive Garden will give a free meal, including unlimited soup and breadsticks, to all active-duty military and veterans on Nov. 11.
Outback Steakhouse has a 20% off Heroes Discount for all veterans, active military, police officers, firefighters and first responders from Nov. 8-11.
Red Lobster is giving a free appetizer or dessert for veterans and active-duty military from a selected menu on Nov. 11. Menu for the day can be found here.
Red Robin is giving a free Tavern Double Burger with a side of bottomless steak fries for veterans and active-duty military on Nov. 11. Dine-in only.
Rodizio Grill will let veterans eat free with the purchase of an adult meal on Nov. 11.
Starbucks is giving a free tall coffee for all veterans and active-duty military.
Texas de Brazil is giving all veterans and active-duty military 50% of their meal from Nov. 11-13.
Texas Roadhouse will be giving a free lunch to all veterans and active-duty military between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m on Nov. 11.
Tuscanos Brazillian Grill will give veterans a free churrasco meal with the purchase of another churrasco meal from Nov. 8-12.
Village Inn is giving a free meal to veterans and active-duty military.
Zaxby’s is doing a buy-one-get-one-free deal with their TLC sandwich meal for active-duty military and veterans on Nov. 11.

The Hogle Zoo will be giving free admission to active-duty military, veterans and their immediate families on Nov. 11.
The Loveland Living Planet Aquarium is giving free admission for active-duty military and veterans, as well as their immediate family members on Nov. 11.
The Leonardo is giving free admission to all veterans and active duty all day from Nov. 9-11.
The Natural History Museum of Utah will give free admission to veterans and active-duty military from Nov. 9-11.
Tracy Aviary will give $1 admission to active-duty and veteran military personnel and their families from Nov. 9-11.

Shopping- Amazon will be giving veterans and military $40 off a year of Amazon Prime, at $79 a year. The deal is available Nov. 6-11.

AMC will be giving free popcorn with the purchase of a military movie ticket for AMC Stubs members who sign up for their mailing list.
Dell is giving an additional 15% discount off their PCs and electronics for veterans and active-duty military. The offer ends Nov. 12 at 7 a.m. EST.
Great Clips is giving free haircuts for veterans and active-duty military on Nov. 11.
Kohl’s is doubling its 15% off discount of veterans and active-military during Veterans Day weekend, coming to 30% off purchases.
Sports Clips will give veterans free haircuts on Nov. 11 for Veterans Day.
