(KSL News) A construction worker was injured this afternoon when he fell 30 feet near Jeremy Ranch.

Summit County deputies say crews were excavating a sewer line when the man lost his footing and fell in a trench. It took emergency personnel about an hour to get him out.

The victim, who is in his 20s, injured his back in the fall. He was transported by helicopter to the hospital.
