PROVO — A Provo man who police say was engaged in sexual contact with multiple teen girls now faces several felony charges.

Kalunahaily White, 21, was charged Tuesday in 4th District Court with rape of a child and two counts of sodomy on a child, all first-degree felonies. He was also charged with child sex abuse, a second-degree felony.

During the spring of 2018, White "was having sexual encounters with minors aged 13 to 16," charging documents state.

His actions were discovered in May 2018 when White, who was 20 at the time, was caught having sex with a 16-year-old girl.

"Although not a crime, the report led to the discovery of the other illegal contact," according to charging documents.

At least two of the girls were 13, the charges state.
