THE ICE — Going to a little league practice for any sport as a child is kind of tricky. You usually have fun and like playing the sport, but it also cuts into play time and is often hard.

A real conundrum for kids.

I had a love-hate relationship with baseball practice. I loved to play, and batting practice was amazing considering I was the size of a 15-year-old at age 10, so I was hitting dingers left and right. But then we'd condition and run the bases, and I hated it because I was a 10-year-old the size of a 15 year old.

I've found a kindred spirit.

The dad who posted this video obviously knew his son enjoyed hockey practice, and also got a little tired of it at times. So the dad took this knowledge and strapped a microphone to his 4-year-old so we could all hear the usually unheard thoughts of a small hocky player.

The video is 6 minutes of pure bliss. Between the little guy excitedly counting his "one-two" while he's skating, to his break and desire to take a nap, his commentary is absolutely hilarious and is now my new favorite thing. Move over Netflix and Bagel Bites: I have a new favorite thing and you need to take a back seat.

Watch the video, laugh a few times and take a moment to remember how wonderful it was to be a small child, and relive the days when it only took the thought of McDonald's to make your legs stop hurting.
