SALT LAKE CITY — Hockey fans in Utah, rejoice.
The NHL’s latest expansion team Vegas Golden Knights will visit its fans in Salt Lake City as part of their second Golden Knights Road Trip to various parts of the team’s authorized television distribution territory by AT&T SportsNet.
"Building on the success of last year’s road trip, this annual trip gives our players the opportunity to connect with fans in other cities that we might not be able to visit during the season," Vegas Golden Knights president Kerry Bubolz said in a statement. "We're fortunate to have such widespread support form our fan base, and we’re looking forward to meeting Golden Knights fans of all ages in our television distribution territory."
The reigning Western Conference champions and Stanley Cup finalists open their road trip Aug. 5 in Reno, Nevada and will end it with a public skate at Salt Lake City Sports Com-plex, 645 Guardsman Way, at 10:30 a.m. MT on Friday, August 10.
We'll be living life in the fast lane* in a couple weeks 😎

Other stops on the Golden Knights' road trip include a hockey clinic in Boise, Idaho on Aug. 7 and a street hockey clinic in Jackson Hole, Wyoming on Aug. 9.
A minor-league hockey town whose ECHL side Utah Grizzlies recently announced an affiliation with the Colorado Avalanche, Salt Lake City will also host a preseason NHL exhibition featuring the Los Angeles Kings and Vancouver Canucks.
