(KSL News) Hogle Zoo was full of extra animals today, as well as ninjas, princesses and monsters.

The annual Boo at the Zoo on 2600 E. Sunnyside Ave., attracted huge crowds of lions, butterflies and dragons both young and old.

The 20-year tradition brings the community together for trick-or-treating and visiting the animals.

Parents love the event because it provides a safe place to enjoy Halloween.

But the kids know what the holiday is all about: candy and lots of fun.
