It's a one-of-a-kind weekend for Weber State University and Real Salt Lake. The Wildcats are in position for maybe their best season ever, and RSL's definitely playing the biggest game in their four-year history.

"Things are exciting for the program and the community, to have a team that's winning and have an opportunity to do what we're doing. But we could ruin that all if we don't show up," said WSU safety Beau Hadley.

The Wildcats don't want to ruin a good thing. Many are calling Saturday's game at Northern Arizona the biggest in Weber State history.

The Cats are ranked 16th in the country; NAU is 15th. A Weber win would be it's fifth straight conference win. They've never done that before.

A win would get the Wildcats close to securing their first playoff berth in 17 years. But the biggie: A win would give them a one-game lead in the Big Sky and a clear path to their first-ever outright Big Sky title.

Running back Trevyn Smith has a simple philosophy heading into this monster match-up. "We're not very smart, you know. We're kind of dumb. So it's like, if we just stick to our game plan week by week, we'll be fine," he said.

Now, from football to futball, just like the Wildcats, Real Salt Lake will play its biggest game in franchise history Saturday. A win or draw at Colorado will get them into the playoffs for the first time ever.

"If you're a player, a professional player, these are the kind of games you want. We got it, so we're gonna go and try to take it," said RSL midfielder Kyle Beckerman.

RSL forward Will Johnson said, "We know what's on the line. We've been waiting for this weekend for a long time, and we can't wait to get to Saturday night."
