Man killed in altercation with police identified

(KSL News) Police have identified a man who was shot and killed by officers following a carjacking and chase Friday.

West Valley police Capt. Tom McLachlan says Marcus Agrillo was shot and killed after refusing to leave a car police say he and two others stole from a man.

Alexia Walker and Ryan Bills, the other two in the car, were both arrested on charges of aggravated robbery, obstruction of justice and vehicle theft.

Police have not yet searched the stolen vehicle and have not said what led officers to shoot Agrillo.
