LINDON — A man died after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a pickup truck Friday morning, police said.
Emergency crews responded to a report of the crash near 550 N. State at approximately 7:15 a.m., according to Lindon Police Chief Josh Adams.
Adams said the man was traveling south on State Street when a red pickup truck traveling north made a left-hand turn onto 550 North. The motorcycle then collided with the side of the truck.
"To the best of our ability to this point, they did not see one another," he said.
The motorcyclist was transported to Utah Valley Hospital, where he died from his injuries, Adams said. The man's name was not immediately released.
The crash remains under investigation, and Adams said any charges related to the crash are pending. Adams added the driver of the pickup truck was cooperating with police.
A third vehicle that was not involved in the accident ran over debris from the crash and was held by police to collect evidence before the driver was released.
