SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Dozens of Utah soldiers will be soon be deployed for an 18-month mission in Iraq.
Yesterday, the National Guard announced around 40 soldiers from its Orem-based 141st Military Intelligence Battalion will be deployed next month.
It's all part of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
To prepare for their deployment, the troops will go through Soldier-Readiness Processing at Camp Williams this Saturday.
While in Iraq, the unit's mission is to provide intelligence support for multinational forces.
