MANTI — A woman who admitted to dropping off her boyfriend at a Mt. Pleasant home, where he robbed and murdered the couple inside, was sentenced to prison Wednesday.
Angela Atwood, 31, was sentenced to one to 15 years in prison for burglary, a second-degree felony, and zero to five years for attempted aggravated robbery, a third-degree felony, a 6th District Court clerk confirmed.
The sentences will run concurrent to each other, but consecutive to a sentence of up to 30 years in prison in Nevada for shooting a woman in the head. That crime occurred at the end of a two-state crime spree in December 2011 with her boyfriend at the time, Logan Welles McFarland.
Atwood, whose last name at the time was Hill, and another woman dropped off McFarland in a church parking lot near the home of Leroy Woody Fullwood and Dorothy Ann Fullwood late on Dec. 29, 2011. McFarland entered the home through an unlocked window, coming upon the couple and shooting them each several times, killing them.
McFarland, now 29, had gone to the home to rob the couple in order to get money to pay for drugs, prosecutors said, taking several guns, jewelry and sentimental items.
The couple fled and carjacked a woman's vehicle in West Wendover a few days later. The woman fought back against Atwood and regained control of her car and was shot in the head as she fled, but survived. Following a high-speed police chase on Jan. 3, 2012, McFarland and Hill were arrested near Oasis, Nevada.

Logan Welles McFarland pleaded guilty Wednesday to two counts of first-degree felony aggravated murder and was sentenced by 6th District Judge Marvin Bagley to two consecutive terms of life in prison without the possibility of parole.McFarland and Atwood were convicted of the Nevada crimes in 2014. McFarland got a prison sentence of 56 years, while Atwood was sentenced to up to 30 years behind bars.
Atwood had faced a charge of attempted murder for the woman's shooting. At her October 2014 sentencing hearing, the Associated Press reported Atwood denied she was the shooter. Elko County District Judge Nancy Porter said at the time that while she was unsure whether Atwood or McFarland shot the woman, Atwood's involvement had led to the attempted murder.
McFarland pleaded guilty in Utah earlier this year to two counts of aggravated murder, a first-degree felony, and was sentenced to two consecutive terms of life in prison without the possibility of parole.
The Utah prison sentences for McFarland and Atwood will begin once they complete the sentences in Nevada or are released on parole.
