(KSL News) Davis County prosecutors have decided not to pursue charges against a woman involved in a deadly road rage incident.

Police say Kris Prinster tossed a cigarette out her car window Sept. 4 while driving in Centerville. That apparently upset Michael Rakes who was on a motorcycle with his son. He confronted Prinster and crashed during the exchange. He later died.

Prosecutors tell The Deseret News they won't charge Prinster because they feel she didn't do anything intentionally or with criminal negligence.

She could still be charged with minor violations, however, such as littering.
