A lot of people have been on the lookout for Governor Palin around the convention hall. Today we saw someone who has been making people do double takes, but it was a Utah delegate's wife!
It dawned on Elizabeth Weiler that she resembled the Alaska Governor shortly after McCain announced Palin as his running mate. Weiler wears a Sarah Palin button, and at the convention, gets comments all the time about the resemblence.
She doesn't seem to mind, yet, talking about it. "I actually thought about it right away. I thought, 'Hey, there's a resemblance.' I always like her, of course, but then when I got here to convention, people kept saying, 'Hey, you look like Sarah Palin.'"
A lot of people are telling Weiler she's "Sarah Palin-hot." In fact, delegates from Indiana created buttons that say "Hoosiers for the hot chick."
It's all great fun for delegates who are there for a serious political business.
