(KSL News) Park City heralded Labor Day by getting back to its mining roots. The town held its 11th annual Miner's Day celebration in funky style.

Crowds lined the historic Main Street as 40 floats paraded past, with participants in retro clothing and silly costumes.

The day was packed with events designed to remind the ski resort town of its roughneck past, including a hearty pancake breakfast and a mucking and drilling competition.
