(KSL News) -- People near Park City are hopping mad about a pet that got loose, but not just any pet, a wallaroo, or gray kangaroo.
The animal escaped in late June from his owner's house and jumped around the Silver Creek area for several weeks. Animal control officers caught it July 13th.
The owner, Greg Pack, keeps several exotic animals at his house.
The Division of Wildlife is trying to find out if it's legal for the wallaroo owner to keep the animal.
