After a short break, food prices are going up again. This includes the "staples" in your kitchen.
Prices have gone up 9 percent in a month for those staples.
A man named Mark was shopping this morning. He doesn't like looking at his grocery bill.
"We don't buy a lot of desserts. We don't eat out as often," he said.
The Deseret News is tracking things like milk, eggs, diapers and pizza. They've gone up 6 percent since April. Frozen corn is up 10 cents. Large pepperoni pizza costs 50 cents more.
But some good news: a dozen eggs is cheaper this month.
