PROVO — Brigham Young University police are searching for a man who has reportedly exposed himself to several females near campus.

BYU Police Chief Larry Stott said over the past two days there have been two reports of a man exposing himself to women in the area of 800 North and 200 East, and 600 North and 600 East. He exposed himself to two students in one of the incidents.

The man involved in the incidents was described as a bald, white male about 40 years old with a large, brown beard, Stott said. The man has a heavy-set build with a large stomach. At the time of the incidents, he was wearing a gray shirt and blue jeans and drives a silver or light colored '90s model vehicle that is possibly either a Malibu or Cavalier, Stott said. The vehicle has a Utah license plate.

"BYU police are encouraging women to travel with a companion when possible and to use extra care when walking or jogging," Stott said.

Anyone with information about the incidents can contact the BYU Police Department at 801-422-2222 or the Provo Police Department at 801-852-6210.

The incident comes only 10 days after another man groped or flashed several women while he was jogging in Provo. However, based on the descriptions, it does not seem to be the same person involved in both cases.
