Don't forget about Fido on the Fourth.
The Humane Society of Utah tries to put out a warning every year, but it says too few people seem to be getting,or heeding, the message.
Executive Director Gene Baiershmidt says the sounds of fireworks can send some dogs into panic mode.
"Their hearing is much more sensitive than people's. It's also a noise that's only heard maybe once or twice a year," he said.
Baiershcmidt says make sure you make plans for your dogs as you make plans for the Fourth. Keep them inside, maybe even in a secluded room, while the fireworks are going off.
