WEST HAVEN, Weber County — The front-end loader stolen from a construction site was recovered Wednesday, but detectives are still looking for the people responsible for the theft.
The Komatsu PT250-5 tractor was abandoned in the parking lot of a church belonging to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Ogden, according to the Weber County Sheriff’s Department. The building is located at 1550 Rushton Street.
The front-end loader is valued at $130,000, according to investigators. It was stolen between 6 p.m. Monday and 7 a.m. Tuesday from an Ormond Construction site at 2700 West and 3400 South in West Haven.
