THE VATICAN — If you haven’t heard anything about the awesomeness of Pope Francis since he was installed, you’ve probably been living under a rock.
He’s won hearts over worldwide, regardless of affiliated religion, with his kind acts and obvious sense of humor. He was named Person of the Year by Time magazine and Best Dressed Man of the Year by Esquire Magazine, both in 2013.
I mean, it’s hard to resist a pope who so patiently and kindly deals with a stage-crasher in the form of a small human as seen here.
And all signs indicate his popularity is growing.
Well, here’s one more video to help solidify Pope Francis as arguably the most popular pope of all time. That’s right, he’s become an honorary Harlem Globetrotter.
The charming video shows a few members of the team presenting Pope Francis with a jersey emblazoned with his name and invite him to come play at an upcoming game. But the pièce de résistance is when a player helps the pope spin a basketball on his finger.
It’s the most adorable video of a religious figure that you’ll see all day.
