JUMPINGTON — When I think of things that have the natural ability to jump, and particularly jump over things, there are a few things that do not come to mind. Things like snails, a dead opossum on the side of the road, me and semitrucks.
While I’m still quite confident that the deceased opossum and I have no vertical ability, my mind has changed on semis.
This video from EMC is really quite simple. They got their hands on a Formula-1 racing car and a semitruck and then jumped the race car with the behemoth truck.

It sounds a little far-fetched, and even though I knew they wouldn’t have posted the video had the truck obliterated the F-1, I still had my doubts this was going to work. My doubts were quieted when I saw the truck jump right over the top of the race car and its driver with ease. The video is only 30 seconds long, but I can’t stop watching it.
If you have access to a Formula-1 race car and a semitruck, I want to hang out with you and I have to advise to not try this in a neighborhood parking lot.
