Whether you are planning a road trip or staying close to home, it is important to plan ahead to keep your family safe. AAA estimates nearly 35 million people will travel for Labor Day, and with more people on the roads your risk of being involved in a crash increases.
Before you hit the road, make sure that you get plenty of rest and that everyone in your car buckles up no matter how far you are traveling. Follow the speed limit and obey the traffic laws, and never text or drive distracted. If you are involved in a crash, follow these steps to make sure you protect your rights and get the help you need.
Have a safe and memorable Labor Day weekend!
