LOGAN, Utah (AP) -- A Logan High School English teacher has been placed on paid leave after inappropriate pictures were found on his personal cell phone.
Logan City School District Superintendent Marshal Garrett says the teacher was placed on leave March 25 and won't teach the rest of the year. The teacher's contract will not be renewed next year.
Garrett declined to say whether any students had seen the pictures. He also did not say what was in the pictures.
Garrett says this is the first time the district has had such a problem since he took over the district in 2006.
