(KSL News) Today's fierce winds prompted a fire to spread to two West Jordan homes.
The owner of one of the homes, Suni Willie, said, "I looked at the center room and all I saw was orange. I thought it just looked like the sun was coming up."

The fire started on a fence line between two properties. A person inside one of the homes saw the flames and called 911. He then tried to put out the fire, but the wind was so strong is pushed the flames to both homes.
Firefighters were able to quickly put out the fire, but not before it spread to the attic of one house and burned the outside of both.
One woman was treated for smoke inhalation.
