MURRAY — Police are asking for the public's help in locating two men suspected of robbing a smoke shop Tuesday evening.

Unified Police officers received reports of an armed robbery at the Murray Smoke Shop at 909 E. 4500 South around 10:30 p.m. Two men entered the smoke shop and confronted the clerk with handguns, according to Unified Police.

Police said the men demanded cash and cigarettes. While the clerk was getting the money and cigarettes for them, one of the men came around the counter and took the entire cash drawer. The men placed the money and cigarettes in a black shoulder bag and left on foot heading eastbound. They took an undisclosed amount of cash.

The men were described as black males. One was wearing a white Utah Jazz jersey and had his face covered. The other man was swearing a black hoodie sweatshirt and also had a covered face.

Both men should be considered armed and dangerous, police say. Anyone with information about the robbery can contact the Unified Police Department at 385-468-9814.
