TOOELE — A woman who police said had been missing for several days was found dead Wednesday.
Alyssa Dalton, 19, was last seen in the Tooele area on Saturday, March 29, according to the Tooele Police Department. She had been driving a black Suzuki Verona.
Dalton's vehicle was discovered in a local canyon area and her body was found near the car, police said.
Police said the cirumstances of the death are still under investigation, but there were no signs of foul play.
"We would like to thank the public as well as our local law enforcement agencies for all of their help in the search and recovery efforts," the Tooele Police Department said in a statement. "Our condolences go out to the Dalton family."
