NEW YORK — Idina Menzel is having a moment, thanks to "Frozen." Despite a slew of covers, it's still a delight to hear it from the mouth of Queen Elsa herself. Watch Menzel keep it casual with Jimmy Fallon and the Roots as they do their own snappy version with classroom instruments. Eyes out for a kazoo, a set of blocks and a colorful xylophone.
After John Travolta butchered her name at the Oscars, Menzel performed "Let It Go" for the adoring crowd of actors, actresses and viewers at home. Although her presence on the Academy Awards stage was exciting, this version is far more powerful.
Whatever nerves our favorite Ice Queen had on Sunday, they're gone now. She even comes in a little early, then laughs it off. And when she needs to belt, she absolutely does. Try to watch this without getting chills.
