THE NAIL SALON – Cats are among the stealthiest creatures on Earth. Whether they're stalking gazelles in the grass or creeping toward deer in a forest, their motions are nearly imperceptible.
To wit, I've only seen a mountain lion once in my life, but I can guarantee that lots of mountain lions have seen me. Dozens, perhaps.
And with the mountain lion that I saw, its movements were so smooth that I was in awe. No noise. No clatter. Just a stealthy cat moving along with confidence.
It's not surprising that wild cats have these skills. But even domestic cats can be incredibly sneaky. For example, check out the feline in this little video:
Yikes! Can you imagine how shocking that would be? You're relaxing at the nail salon. As you stare at your phone and your mind drifts away to faraway lands, a blur of fur suddenly plummets from the ceiling.
That, dear reader, is what you call a ninja cat.
