Randall Jeppesen reporting BYU basketball fans are playing the lottery today, hoping they can score some tickets for the Cougars' run in the NCAA tournament.

Go to California and watch some great basketball, sounds like a plan to me. Only getting tickets could be the tricky part. "Few tickets, but a great game and a great opportunity for us," said BYU assistant ticket manager Kristen Whitaker.

Whitaker says BYU only received a small amount of tickets to sell for the tournament. So, today the school is holding a ticket lottery for high-level Cougar Club members and students.

Quinn Dowel is among the students hoping to have his name drawn. He already booked his plane tickets. "Yeah, I'll be missing class on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday," he said.
