(KSL News) Two men are behind bars after allegedly kidnapping and attempting to sexually assault a teenager in Salt Lake City.
Police arrested 25 year-old-Ricardo Ruiz and 36-year-old Gonzalo Romero-Cacho yesterday afternoon.
An off-duty police officer spotted the two men with the 17-year-old girl in the parking lot of a Tesoro refinery near 1600 North and 1200 West.
The officer reportedly saw the girl mouth the words, "Help Me," so he approached the car.
The girl says the men kidnapped her earlier that day near 500 N. Redwood Rd.
Both men were placed under arrest and booked into the Salt Lake County Jail.
