(KSL News) A South Jordan family escaped their burning home today.
Crews from the South Jordan Fire Department responded just after 4 p.m.
Smoke was coming out the side and back of the house near 10000 South and 2200 West, but firefighters say the actual fire was in the basement. Crews confined it to a bedroom downstairs.
So far there's no word on how it started.
