(KSL News) -- Police say a bus driver hit a power pole this morning in Sandy.
Officers say the driver was heading down Little Cottonwood Road just before 9:00 this morning when the accident happened. The driver says he took a turn too sharply, and ran into the pole.
Fifty students were inside the bus, but none of them were injured. Another bus came to pick them up and take them to school.
Utah Power and Light came to the scene and repaired damage to the pole.
The driver received a ticket.
