HYRUM — A rash of burglaries has the Cache County Sheriff's Office turning to the public for help. Seven convenience stores have been burglarized in the last six weeks.
In each burglary, the front windows of the businesses were broken in the early morning hours, police said. Cigarettes and cash were also taken in each incident.
Surveillance photos obtained from the Short Stop convenience store in Hyrum gave police a vague sketch of who might be behind the crimes, but they're asking for the public's help in identifying the alleged thief.
The robber was described as a white male in his mid- to late-20s, with a beard or mustache. The vehicle was described as a white, two-door coupe with a spoiler on the back.
The Cache County Sheriff's Office has asked anyone with information to call 435-755-1161.
