WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - Delaware State police are investigating an early morning shooting at a nightclub after a show by hip-hop artist Meek Mill that left four people with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
State police spokesman Sgt. Paul Shavack says that when troopers arrived at the Moodswing Niteclub in Wilmington just before 2 a.m. Saturday, about 600 to 700 people were in the parking lot trying to get away from the shooting. They were running and in their cars.
Troopers said they could hear multiple gunshots by more than one shooter being fired within the crowd that was there to see the popular rapper.
Shavack says two victims were treated at the scene and taken to hospitals and friends took two others for treatment.
Troopers have no suspects and are trying to find a motive.
