(KSL News) Firefighters battled a blaze at an apartment in West Valley.
Yesterday afternoon crews responded to smoke and flames coming from a window on the second floor. Those flames also spread to the roof.
Officials estimate the total damage to the unit at $40,000. Nobody was home at the time of the fire.
The cause is still being investigated.
