Cleon Wall reporting One teen is in custody, and police are questioning others after a riot at the Clearfield Job Corps Center.
Over 300 students were fighting outside the Job Corps on Sunday but started to leave when police showed up. Clearfield Assistant Police Chief Greg Krusi says it was not an easy investigation. "They didn't get a whole lot of cooperation from the individuals involved," he said.
After a few interviews, officers found out that this brawl was a long time coming. "The Pacific-Islander students and the African-American students had been fighting and exchanging words," Krusi explained.
School officials identified the instigator, and police arrested him for felony riot and misdemeanor assault. Krusi says Job Corps safety officers are now trying to determine if there's anyone else who needs to be charged.
