West Valley City, Utah - The Fresno Falcons defeated the Utah Grizzlies 6-1 Wednesday night at the E-Center.
Fresno scored two goals in the first and a shorthanded goal in the second to lead 3-0 going to the second intermission.
In the third, Fresno, extended the lead to 5-0 before Chris Gaudet (5) got the Grizzlies lone goal from Andrew MacDonald.
Utah went up 6-1 at 17:25 of the third and that remained the games final.
Mike Mole stopped 23 of 29 shots in the game for Utah.
Utah outshot Fresno 34-29.
The Grizzlies are now off until Friday, December 28 when they open a seven-game road trip in Alaska. Face-off is scheduled for 9:15 p.m.
