PROVO — Donny Osmond has teamed up with Jay Leno to do a spoof on the CSI franchise. And the latest installment of the criminal investigation show, according to Leno, will be set in Happy Valley.
Osmond appeared Wednesday on "The Tonight Show," starring in a skit titled "CSI: Provo, Utah." The skit consisted of Osmond repeatedly mocking the signature move of CSI: Miami character Lt. Horatio Caine, played by David Caruso.
Prior to the start of the show's title sequence and after a crime is committed, Caruso's character is known for beginning a cringe-worthy one-liner, putting on his sunglasses, and finishing the statement.
One parody involves Osmond holding a library book.
"This book's return," Osmond says, pausing dramatically. "Is way overdue."
Osmond has appeared on the tonight show in the past, often with his sister, Marie.
