SALT LAKE CITY — Two suspects were arrested Wednesday afternoon in connection to a homicide last month in San Jose, California.
The men were wanted on suspicion of involvement in a fatal stabbing April 27 in San Jose. Police responded shortly before 2 a.m. to reports of a victim with multiple stabbing wounds. One occupant of the residence outside of which the victim was found became uncooperative during the investigation and locked himself inside the residence, according to San Jose police.
A SWAT team was dispatched to the scene, eventually leading the man to exit the residence. After questioning the occupants of the house, police determined that Brian Bess, 23, and Jonathan Bess, 21, had fled the scene before officers arrived.
Salt Lake City police received a tip Wednesday morning that the suspects had been seen at 270 S. Main St. in Salt Lake City. Officers in the area arrested the men and booked them into jail.
