SALT LAKE CITY -- Police used a Taser to take down a suspected gang member in Salt Lake City.
Members of the Metro Gang Unit were watching a Salt Lake hotel room near 600 West and 400 North because they got a tip drugs were being sold there.
An officer spotted a stolen car with four people inside. When they saw police, the car sped off into a neighborhood. Officers followed.
A few blocks later all four people in the car exited the vehicle and tried to run. Police used a Taser on one of the suspects and K-9 units helped round up the other three.
Sgt. Mike Shoenfeld says all four suspects have past gang histories.
