(KSL News) The number of Utahns infected with West Nile virus jumped this week.
The Deseret Morning News reports there are five new confirmed cases in Salt Lake County, four in Cache County, and one in Box Elder County.
About 25 people have been infected with the virus this year, which is still well below the 75 cases confirmed last year.
