SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- A long battle to remove a Ten Commandments monument from a Pleasant Grove park is finally over.
At the request of the Society of Separationists, a judge has officially dropped a lawsuit by the group who wanted the monument removed from the park.
They had asked for the lawsuit to be dismissed last year after the U-S Supreme Court ruled on the constitutionality of Ten Commandments displays on public property.
This week, a judge granted a request by city lawyers to dismiss the case.
