(KSL News) A man called Salt Lake Police this morning, because he caught someone staring at him while he warmed up his car near 760 S. 700 East.
The suspect watched the man for a few minutes, then peered inside and underneath the car as he called a woman's name. It spooked the car owner, so he called for help.
When officers arrived, the suspect took off. Police eventually caught him, and discovered he had a few outstanding warrants. Now he also faces charges for fleeing police.
Officers are not sure what the man wanted, or why he was scoping out the car.
