ST. GEORGE, Utah (AP) -- A lawyer for a Utah bank says one of its executives arrested in a federal prosecution of the three biggest Internet poker companies had no authority to make deals for the bank.

Attorney Loren Weiss, who represents SunFirst Bank in St. George, says he does not think an indictment that charges 11 people with bank fraud and illegal gambling will affect the bank.

John Campos, the vice chairman of the board and part owner of SunFirst Bank, was arrested Friday on suspicion of agreeing to process gambling transactions in return for a $10 million investment in the bank by Chad Elie and an associate.

The Spectrum of St. George reports Campos also allegedly requested and received a $20,000 bonus for his assistance.

Campos was arrested on various charges.
