SALT LAKE CITY — Green Street, a 21-and-over club located in Trolley Square, might be closing its doors because it can't afford the rent, according to one of the owners.

Trolley Square is suing the club for more than $120,000 in past due rent and late fees, plus interest and attorney's fees, according to a complaint filed Friday in 3rd District Court.
Green Street is in default of its lease and should have vacated the property March 15, the lawsuit states.
John Prince, one of Green Street's owners, says he doesn't know when the club will close, but he can't see how it can be saved.
He said that the corporation the club is operating under, Green Frog Social Club, Inc, has no assets and can no longer afford the rent.
"It makes me sad," Prince said. "It was just a neat spot in Utah and I hate to have it die on my watch."
