(KSL News) -- A water main break shut down traffic on a thoroughfare in Provo this afternoon.
Construction crews laying fiber optic cable along University Avenue ruptured a water main. The break created a geiser on the street.
The water forced police to stop traffic in both directions for 20 minutes.
Crews shut off the water, and mopped up the flooded street.
