SANDY -- Utahns across the state are preparing for Saturday's 9th anniversary of the September 11 terror attacks. One impressive event is in Sandy.
Organizers of the Healing Field have once again set up hundreds of flags. The tribute started in 2002 with more than 3,000 flags flown together in honor those killed in the terror attacks.
Over the years, the number of flags has become so large the group has run out of room on the field.
This year's display focuses on supporting all wounded veterans and their families.
The healing field is located at Sandy City Hall (10000 Centennial Parkway). Anyone can tour the Healing Field through Monday. [CLICK HERE for more information]
