LOGAN, Utah (AP) -- Authorities say a 5-year-old boy has died after being hit by a vehicle while on his bike in Logan.
Logan police say the boy died Thursday after being taken to the hospital. They say a 35-year-old woman was driving a white Chevrolet Lumina when the boy rode his bicycle into her path.
The Herald Journal in Logan reports on its website that police say that based on statements from the driver and witnesses, she didn't have enough time to avoid hitting the boy.
The accident is under investigation.
The boy's name was not immediately released.
